Kia EV6 Car Review – Kia has launched its much-awaited EV6 electric car in India. This stylish and powerful vehicle offers a driving range of 663 km on a single charge. The company has priced it at ₹65.9 lakh (ex-showroom pan India). The EV6 is designed with a focus on modern technology comfort and futuristic styling making it a strong contender in the electric vehicle market.
Bold design and premium comfort
The new EV6 comes with 15 design updates giving it a sportier and more aggressive front-end look. Inspired by Kias Opposites United design philosophy it features a new star map graphic connected DRL with sequential indicators and a GT-Line front bumper. The car also flaunts 19-inch aerodynamic glossy-finish alloy wheels and star-map LED rear combination lamps enhancing its futuristic appeal.
Luxury and advanced technology
The EV6 offers a premium and spacious cabin that exudes luxury. It is equipped with a double D-cut steering wheel featuring hands-on detection technology for better driving convenience. The car also boasts a 12.3-inch dual panoramic curved display with a connected car navigation cockpit and next-gen infotainment system providing an immersive digital experience for drivers and passengers.
ADAS 2.0 safety features
The EV6 is packed with the latest ADAS 2.0 system which offers 27 advanced safety and driver-assistance features. It includes five new autonomous functions such as FCA 2.0 for junction turning and crossing to prevent collisions. The lane change assist and evasive steering assist ensure extra protection during emergencies. Additionally lane follow assist (LFA 2.0) helps the vehicle stay in the correct lane reducing accident risks.
High performance and fast charging
Built on Kias Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) the EV6 comes with an 84-kWh battery pack that delivers a driving range of 663 km. It generates 325 PS of power and 605 Nm of torque offering a thrilling driving experience. The car supports ultra-fast charging technology allowing it to charge from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes using a 350 kW fast charger.
