Ground Zero Movie Teaser Review: The only film genre in Bollywood that involves India and Pakistan are war drama films. And if it involves Kashmir, it becomes a gold mine! Last year, Yami Gautam’s Article 370 became one of the highest grossing Hindi films of the year and now Emraan Hashmi is gearing up for a great war drama, Ground Zero!
The teaser of the film is out and honestly, it looks like a great war drama film about Kashmir. In fact, Emraan Hashmi looks amazing as a soldier even at this age! Honestly, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s production house Excel Entertainment should be congratulated for choosing the right kind of stories!
The teaser of Ground Zero is filled with heavy dialogues that include watan, zameer, zameen, maqshat, insaaf and more. But none of it looks overly dramatic. In fact, despite these heavy dialogues, there is no chaotic shade to the teaser at all!

Emraan Hashmi looks like a perfect war hero shouting that pehredaar nahi ab prahar hoga. But despite everything being right, I am skeptical about this teaser where the hero is fighting for the freedom of Kashmir, the land of Kashmir and the people of Kashmir!
The reason is that the teaser doesn’t show anything new that we haven’t seen on screen. We have seen all forms of Kashmir – the good ones in Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Lakshya, the profitable ones in The Kashmir Files and the surprising ones in Mission Kashmir and Fanaa. We have also seen the failure in Shikara and the surprise hit in Article 370, but the question remains the same – is ground zero enough to keep the audiences hooked!
There is no doubt that the teaser grabs attention with its powerful dialogues, but it is only a few seconds long. Will the story be strong enough to emerge as a winner, only time can tell! But we can bet a lot on it and the teaser delivers exactly what it promises – a good war film that has the potential to emerge as the winner.
