Bhootni Movie Trailer Review:In the season of horror comedy and horror-comedy another horror comedy is coming to the box office. The trailer of Bhootni starring Sanjay Dutt Mouni Roy Palak Tiwari and Sunny Singh is out. Produced by Sanjay Dutt and Deepak Mukut this horror comedy is directed by Siddhant Sachdev.
The problem with this horror comedy is that the comedy is scary and the horror is comic. The story revolves around a virgin tree in a college campus. A campus where 30+ Sunny Singh is romancing Palak Tiwari and both are probably in college which doesnt seem very believable.
Also Bhootni is Mouni Roy who calls herself Mohabbat! Yes thats the name of the witch but dont dare call her a witch as Ghostbuster slash ghosthunter Sanjay Dutt would say! A lot of punches come out of nowhere. Theres the tadka of religion and then there are some tadkas that just dont fit!
The name of the film is Bhootni but she makes very few appearances at least thats the point in the trailer. In fact both Palak and Mouni make very little appearance in the trailer. It has the Naagin tadka which should have been the highlight; despite Mounis presence and expressions everything reminds of Naagin! In fact even her face has turned witch-like!
Palak has nothing to do in the trailer except create confusion whether she is a ghost or not. However despite everything I am not sure whether this horror comedy will actually work or not as this is the season of horror comedies with Stree 2 Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Munjya and Aranmanai 4 all being box office successes last year!
